Having won the 2017 MiniGP50 CIV Italy Championship, Collin Veijer spent another couple of years racing in Italy’s CIV Championship before being selected for the Red Bull MotoGP™ Rookies Cup in 2020. Veijer finished 10th overall in his debut campaign, as a solid season in JuniorGP™ followed in 2021 alongside his Rookies Cup duties. 2022 is when Veijer really made a step up though. A title race with Rueda in the Rookies Cup went to the final round in Valencia, with Veijer just falling short, while in JuniorGP™, two wins and a sixth place finish overall caught the attentions of World Championship personnel. Veijer now gets set for his first Moto3™ World Championship campaign with Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP.
