The first team presentation of 2020 took place over the weekend in Verona, Italy, as the VNE Snipers squad unveiled their brand-new livery ahead of the Moto3™ World Championship. A hot favourite for the 2020 crown, Italy's Tony Arbolino, will look to build on the first two Grand Prix victories of his career from last year, which, along with five other trips to the rostrum, helped him to fourth in the World Championship.
In 2020, Arbolino will be joined in the garage by Czech youngster Filip Salac. The 18-year-old made great progress throughout his first year in the Moto3™ World Championship, culminating in a best finish of fifth at the final round of the season in Valencia. Arbolino and Salac were joined on stage by a handful of riders who wear the Snipers colours in the Junior Moto3™ World Championship, the Italian Moto3™ Championship and the European Talent Cup.
Tony Arbolino: "Wow! They didn't want to show me anything before today and the new livery has left me speechless. This year everyone is expecting a lot from me and I don't want to disappoint anyone; I am training a lot and I have just returned from Valencia where, with Filip, we trained on a motorbike. Even in the gym, thanks to my trainer Ivan Lopez, I continue an intensive training programme so I can start the season in the best way."
Filip Salac: "I saw the bike for the first time today and it's beautiful! With a bike like this, a team like this and such a strong teammate I really think I can make an important leap this season."
