A 1:45.401 saw Deniz Öncü (Red Bull KTM Ajo) remain the rider to beat heading into Moto3™ qualifying at the Gran Premio MotoGP™ Guru by Gryfyn de España as the times tumble from Friday’s running. Rookies David Alonso (Gaviota GASGAS Aspar M3) and Jose Antonio Rueda (Red Bull KTM Ajo) complete the combined Practice top three in Jerez, as title-chasing Diogo Moreira (MT Helmets – MSI) faces Q1.

The cooler morning temperatures gave everyone a chance to improve their best times from Friday’s action, and as ever, it was inside the final 10 minutes where we saw the main bulk of movement take place. Öncü’s fastest lap came on his ninth flyer, and it was a time that wouldn’t be beaten in the final five minutes. Alonso came closest on his final lap, 0.149s splits the top two, with Rueda 0.444s down in P3.
Ryusei Yamanaka (Gaviota GASGAS Aspar M3) and Jaume Masia (Leopard Racing) round out the top five ahead of qualifying, with Xavier Artigas (CFMOTO Racing PrüstelGP), Andrea Migno (CIP Green Power), David Muñoz (BOE Motorsports), walking wounded Joel Kelso (CFMOTO Racing PrüstelGP) and Ayumu Sasaki (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP) sitting inside the top 10.
Kaito Toba (SIC58 Squadra Corse), Scott Ogden (VisionTrack Racing Team), World Championship leader Daniel Holgado (Red Bull KTM Tech3) and Tatsuki Suzuki (Leopard Racing) are the other riders heading straight into Q2, as Moreira misses out in P15 by 0.006s.
