Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM Ajo) topped all three practice sessions to lead the way into qualifying at the Gran Premio d'Italia Oakley smashing the lap record with a 1:50.154 in Practice 3. The Spaniard finished 0.192s ahead of Fermin Aldegeur (MB Conveyors SpeedUp) with Jake Dixon (Autosolar GASGAS Aspar Team) rounding out the top 3.

Filip Salac (QJMOTOR Gresini Moto2) leads the rest of the field into Q2 as he finished P4 on combined times. The Czech rider will be joined by Sam Lowes (Elf MarcVDS Racing Team), Aron Canet (Pons Wegwow Los40), Tony Arbolino (Elf MarcVDS Racing Team), and Sergio Garcia (Pons Wegwow Los40) who made up your top 8. Alonso Lopez (MB Conveyors SpeedUp) also made the Q2 cut in P9 as Somkiat Chantra (IDEMISTU Honda Team Asia) rounded out the top 10 with his teammate Ai Ogura taking the final Q2 spot in P14.
