Deniz Öncü (Red Bull KTM Ajo) is the new Moto3™ lap record holder at the Chang International Circuit as the Turk’s 1:41.907 saw him top the combined Practice timesheets at the OR Grand Prix of Thailand. Diogo Moriera (MT Helmets – MSI) was just 0.025s shy of Öncü’s impressive Saturday morning pace, as Ryusei Yamanaka (Gaviota GASGAS Aspar Team) completes the top three ahead of qualifying.

As always, the fast laps came at the end of the session with all but four riders managing to better their Friday times in the closing stages. Öncü was quickest of them all with Moreira not far behind, with Yamanaka’s last flying lap landing the Japanese rider a top three spot.
World Championship leader Jaume Masia (Leopard Racing) pocketed P4 ahead of Collin Veijer (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP) and the late improving Matteo Bertelle (Rivacold Snipers Team), with Jose Rueda (Red Bull KTM Ajo), David Alonso (Gaviota GASGAS Aspar Team), Taiyo Furusato (Honda Team Asia) and Ivan Ortola (Angeluss MTA Team) rounding out the fastest 10 riders so far in Buriram.
Daniel Holgado (Red Bull KTM Tech3) heads into Q2 in P11, the former title chase leader sits ahead of Nicola Carraro (Rivacold Snipers Team), second in the Championship Ayumu Sasaki (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP) and Riccardo Rossi (SIC58 Squadra Corse).
