Maverick Viñales (Aprilia Racing) took the top spot in Free Practice 2 as his 1:30.550 saw him 0.041s clear of the field. Aprilia Racing have looked strong all weekend and locked out the top two in FP2 as Aleix Espargaro joined his fellow Catalan at the top. Just 0.007s from the Noale machines was Championship leader Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) who still has plenty of fight left in him with Jorge Martin (Prima Pramac Racing) down in P8. It was good session also for Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™) who took 4th place and has a spot awaiting him Q2. Miguel Oliveira (CryptoDATA RNF Racing Team) was next up as the Portuguese rider made it three Aprilias in the top five.
