Deniz Öncü's (Red Bull KTM Ajo) 2:09.404 was enough for the Turk to top the timesheets in Practice 1 as he beat World Championship leader Jaume Masia (Leopard Racing) by 0.413s on Friday afternoon, as Diogo Moreira (MT Helmets - MSI) rounded out the top three. Ayumu Sasaki (Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP) had a difficult session as the Japanese rider crashed early on before finishing 3.411s off the pace in 26th.

Diogo Moreira (MT Helmets - MSI) took well to the Lusial International Circuit, finishing the session in P3 ahead of Kaito Toba (SIC58 Squadra Corse), while Syarifuddin Azman (MT Helmets - MSI) enjoyed a very positive session to round out the top five.
