They’re fighting to make even more, but Prima Pramac Racing have already made some history! At the Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Qatar, the squad wrapped up the Teams’ Championship and in doing so, become the first ever Independent Team to win it outright. By definition, they’ve also taken the trophy for Best Independent Team in 2023, too.

It’s been an amazing year already as Jorge Martin fights for the riders’ Championship, and teammate Johann Zarco inked his name into the history books with that maiden MotoGP win at Phillip Island. Between them they’ve already taken five Grand Prix wins in 2023, and Martin adds a stunning eight Tissot Sprint victories to the tally.
The squad already made some history on the way too: their win at the 2021 Styrian GP, taken by Martin, was the first ever for an Independent Team Ducati. It was also his maiden win.
Next up it’s Valencia and another chance to add to the story. On 620 points after the Qatar GP, the team will race to add even more to that tally in the season finale so make sure to tune in for the Gran Premio Motul de la Comunitat Valenciana next weekend!
