Matteo Bertelle is an Italian rider born in Monselice, he has spent the majority of his career racing in the CIV Italian series’ with some seasons spent in the Spanish CEV and three years of work in the Red Bull Rookies, where he claimed victory at the Sachsenring in 2021. The youngster signed up to ride within the Avintia Esponsorama Moto3™ squad for 2022 and raced under the VR46 banner. The Italian already had one World Championship appearance to his name after wildcarding for the Bardhal team at Misano, coming home in a respectable P18 on his debut, while the highlight of an encouraging debut year saw him claim P9 at his home GP at Mugello. The Rivacold Snipers Team saw enough in his to hand him a seat on their squad for the 2023 campaign.
